LIVING THE MISSION OF CHRIST

c. The Twelve (Luke 9:1–6) were apostolic representatives—sent primarily to Israel.
d. Twelve = Israel’s tribes (covenant people). Matthew 10:5-6

f. Seventy = the nations, refers to Table of Nations (Genesis 10). Extending beyond the twelve tribes to the whole world.

2. The love of God is to go beyond our personal boundary.

Conclusion:
· Represent Christ—every Christ follower is to take on His mission.
· Reflect Christ’s compassion—every person is an opportunity.
· Rest in Christ’s presence—sit at His feet every day!
