LIVING READY IN A WORLD THAT IS NOT READY:

1.    Live with integrity before God.

a.    Luke 12:1-3 

b.    Stay on guard against hypocrisy.

c.     Luke 12:4-7

d.    Seriously respect the One who has ultimate authority.

f.      Question: Who shapes your speech and behavior?

2.    Live with contentment in God. 

a.    Luke 12:13-21 

b.    Question: Is there security in having some wealth on earth?

c.     Luke 12:22-31 

d.    Jesus’ clear direction is to seek the kingdom, not anxiety.

e.    How do you measure success, by what you have or how you serve or what you give?

f.      Luke 12:32-34

g.    Think generosity as evidence of Kingdom trust.

3.    Live with readiness for God.

a.    Luke 12:35-40

b.    Real faith expresses itself in attentive, faithful stewardship.

c.     Luke 12:41-48

d.    Faithfulness is rewarded; negligence is judged.

e.    Faithfulness in small things prepares you for the eternal things.

4.    Live with discernment toward God.

a.    Luke 12:49-53

b.    Jesus’ mission brings division before peace.

c.     There are times when truth will divide a home. 

d.    Luke 12:54-59 

e.    Recognize the spiritual season, respond while there is time.

f.      Don’t delay obedience, discern God’s work now.
