BIBLICAL PROOF OF HOLY SPIRIT’S PERSONHOOD:

• He has a mind.

Romans 8:27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

• He has a will.

Corinthians 12:11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

• He has love.

Romans 15:30 I urge you, brothers and sisters, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me.

• He can be grieved.

Ephesians 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

HELPER: DESCRIBING THE HOLY SPIRIT’S ROLE IN ASSISTING AND AIDING BELIEVERS.

•  Advocate : One who pleads or defends another’s cause or need.

• Comforter : Encourage, bring strength, and peace to the hurting.

• Counselor : Signifying guidance, wisdom, and support.
